Here's what it costs and what's included, so there are no surprises.


The Glasshouse at Holl Photography sits behind our studio in Oakdale, PA, just a short woodland walk from the parking area. Natural light pours in through the glass ceiling and windows, and there's a chandelier, a vintage fireplace, and a Victorian red settee waiting inside. Photographers book it for portraits, minis, and content days.

Rental at a Glance

  • 1 hour: $100
  • 2 hours: $200
  • 4 hours: $350
  • Full day (8 AM – 8 PM): $750
  • $50 deposit to book. Balance due 2 days before your rental.
  • Up to 20 people.
  • Proof of liability insurance required before your rental. Your time includes setup, shooting, rearranging, cleanup, and heading out. A 2-hour rental is roughly 90 minutes of shooting.
  • Rentals cover the Glasshouse and the surrounding paths and woods.

What's Included

Glass ceiling and windows for natural light Chandelier and vintage fireplace Victorian red settee, church pew, and vintage trunks Rugs, lanterns, and candle-style lights Seasonal trees, greenery, and props Black-and-white checkered floor Woodland areas for outdoor portraits Outlets on each wall and along the path near the fire pit Restroom and changing space in the main studio (give us 24 hours' notice) You bring your camera and lighting. Flash is fine as long as nothing gets damaged (trees included). Outside props are welcome.

Right Now: Decorated for Christmas

The Glasshouse is decorated for the holidays, with trees, greenery, and warm lights. The decorations will stay up through the middle of January, so it's a good fit for holiday minis.

How Booking Works

  1. Pick your time and book online. Your $50 deposit holds the date.
  2. Send proof of insurance. I'll email you a reminder after you book.
  3. Get your guides. You'll get a photographer guide for you and a welcome guide you can edit and share with your clients. Your studio door code comes with it.

Your booking isn't confirmed until the deposit is received. We take Venmo, PayPal, cash, or check.

Cancellations and Changes

Cancel more than 2 days before: you lose the deposit, and the balance isn't charged. Cancel less than 2 days before: the full fee is due. Need to change your date or start time? Let me know at least 3 days ahead and I'll do my best to fit you in. If I have to cancel for weather or an emergency, you get a full refund or we reschedule.

House Rules (The short list)

  • No smoking, vaping, or open flames
  • No food or colored drinks (water is fine)
  • No glitter or confetti
  • Kids need supervision
  • Please don't touch the chandelier, drapery, window hardware, or installed lighting, and don't attach anything to walls, windows, or beams
  • Put props back where you found them
  • Renters are responsible for any damage

Your Images

Use them however you like, including commercially. Your clients, pricing, contracts, and delivery are all yours. I may share behind-the-scenes photos of the space, but I'll never share your client photos without your written permission. If you'd like to credit us, "at The Glasshouse at Holl Photography" is perfect.

Drive past the house on your right and park in front of the white studio building on the left. There are three extra spaces next to the house. Use your door code to enter the studio, or follow the steps and path toward the Glasshouse on the left.
