As a husband and father of two young adults, I’ve always valued steady presence and meaningful connection. I would describe myself as calm and thoughtful, someone who enjoys learning, refining, and creating. Music, photography, woodworking. Anything that involves craftsmanship and creativity has always been part of who I am.
My passion for photography began when my daughter, an artist in her own right, handed me her camera. What started as curiosity quickly became a pursuit, not just of beautiful images, but of mastering light, composition, and storytelling well enough to create exactly what I envisioned.
After more than 30 years as an instrumental music teacher, I learned that growth doesn’t happen by accident. It takes patience, guidance, and trust. Practice was always the easy part. The real work (and the real reward) was building connection.
Whether in the classroom or behind the camera, I’ve seen the same truth: when someone feels truly seen and understood, confidence follows.
That belief shapes every senior session I create. When you’re able to relax and trust the process, genuine expressions emerge. That’s where personality shines and where portraits become more than images. They become a reflection of this season, preserved with intention and care.
